Background

Sylwia "Żmija Zygzakowata" Mirecka is a rogue from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth of noble blood (Szlachta). Her father is the petty lord of the small village of Mircze in the Lublin Voivodeship (Województwo Lubelskie).

Her mother was betroshed to Sylwia's father from a lord in The Kingdom of Scotland. Sylwia ran away from home when before her wedding - she didn't like the idea of being married off to a landlord in Bohemia for a sack of gold!

It's not known exactly how Sylwia survives as a vegabond, but it's rumoured that she accepts legally-questionable contracts.
